Alejandro Piera
Founding partner of Guanes, Heisecke & Piera Abogados (GHP). His practice areas include matters related to international trade, insurance, foreign investment, and sports law.

Alejandro holds a PhD and a Master of Laws (LLM) from McGill University (Montreal, Canada), as well as a law degree from the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the National University of Asunción. In 2016, the Association des Professeures et Professeurs de Droit du Quebec he was awarded the prize for the best doctoral thesis of 2015. Alejandro is a graduate of the Center for Fiscal Studies, and is a former scholarship recipient of AFS International and the Swedish International Development Agency.
